Watching tv and using remote controlToday Sling TV announced that they will stream the October 15th, 2019 CNN Democratic Presidential Debate for free to all even if you are not a Sling TV subscriber. Starting at 7 p.m. ET on October 15th, 2019 Sling TV will open its app up to all so you can catch all the pre-debate coverage, and Sling will keep the app open for free to all until 12 a.m. ET.

How To Watch the Debate Free

  • Download the Sling TV app on a Roku, Amazon or Android device and follow the instructions on the welcome screen.
  • On the “My TV” screen in the Sling app, click on the CNN channel at the beginning of the channel guide (beginning at 7 p.m. ET).
  • After the debate ends, users can choose to upgrade to a monthly Sling TV subscription by clicking the banner at the top of their My TV screen, or continue browsing and watching free content without an account.

This is a great way to watch the debate without needing to pay for a subscription or cable bill, giving cord cutters a great opportunity to still tune in to the debate and at the same time test out Sling TV.
