We’ve gotten a lot of questions and comments from readers who have cut the cord and still want to watch The Weather Channel. Right now, fuboTV is the only major streaming service with The Weather Channel in its lineup. In this post, we’re sharing a few alternatives so you can get weather updates and weather related content from around the country and the world.

WeatherNation

WeatherNation is a channel that gives constant updates about weather across the country. You can watch directly on the WeatherNation website, where you’ll also find recent weather headlines and quick breakdowns of weather events. You can also download the app on Amazon Fire TV, Android and Android TV, Apple TV, PlayStation, Roku, and Xbox 360. Pluto TV has a WeatherNation channel as well.

AccuWeather

You can download the AccuWeather app on smartphones, tablets, Amazon Fire devices, Apple TV, and Android TV. With the app, you’ll get hyper local minute by minute updates, hourly forecasts, severe weather warnings, and more. If you’re a DIRECTV NOW subscriber, you’ll get AccuWeather as part of your channel lineup.

The Weather Network

You can get The Weather Network’s app on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Android TV. The Weather Network also has a dedicated channel on Pluto and apps for smartphones and tablets. With the app, you’ll get up to date weather information for your area, along with news, severe weather information, and forecasts.

Local Now

If you can’t watch The Weather Channel, you might still be able to get the channel’s content that most affects you with Local Now. The app offers hyper local weather content in real time. You’ll need TV provider credentials to access content, but you can use some streaming service login credentials to do that, including fuboTV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV.
