Yesterday Cord Cutters News was the first to report that DIRECTV NOW will be rolling out a $10 price hike and two new packages. The new packages will be called DIRECTV NOW Plus with 40+ channels for $50 a month and DIRECTV NOW MAX with 50+ channels for $70 a month.
Today Cord Cutters News can now confirm this report and show the full list of channels for both services. Here is the full list of channels available with DIRECTV NOW Plus and DIRECTV NOW MAX.
A quick glance at the list shows AMC, Discovery, Scripps, and Viacom owned networks are being removed from DIRECTV NOW’s new package. This means no more Comedy Central, BBC America, TLC, etc on DIRECTV NOW once they switch over to these new packages. It is important to remember if you have DIRECTV NOW you will reportedly get to keep your current package but new customers will be limited to the Plus and Max packages.
You can learn more about the new DIRECTV NOW changes coming later this week HERE.
Remember that locals and regional sports networks vary depending on location.
