Want to make some extra money? Like watching TV? Well, Comcast may have a new streaming service for you. According to a report from The Information Comcast is considering launching a streaming service that will pay viewers to watch episodes of NBCU TV shows and web series.

The service would include ads and the more you watch, the more you could earn. Now it is very likely that Comcast is not going to hand you cash, but like other services, you will likely earn points that can be exchanged for gift cards from a wide range of services. The goal is for you to watch ads earning Comcast money and for Comcast to return some of the profits back to the viewer.

Comcast would not be the first company to try this. In the past, other networks have let you watch ads to earn Amazon Video credits. Other services like Perk.TV lets you earn rewards by watching TV and checking in as you watch TV. Many of these perks are gift cards to places like iTunes, Amazon, Home Depot, and more.

For now, there is no date for when the reported new streaming service from Comcast would launch. At this time all we have is early reports.
