One of the questions we asked is what they pay for home internet. (Home internet only not counting mobile cellular internet.)

According to our readers, more than 70% of them paid $70 or less for their home internet. Here is the full break down:

  • $30 or less: 4.5%
  • $31 to $50: 25.2%
  • $51 to $70: 40.7%
  • $71 to $90: 20.6%
  • $92 to $110: 7%
  • $111+: 2%

Home internet prices can vary wildly from town to town even if you have the same internet provider; however, it is interesting to see that more than 70% of our readers pay $70 or less for home internet service.

Are you in the high end of this list? It is possible that you are in a rural area with limited internet options. It is also possible you may need to do some shopping around for less expensive internet.
