Next week, DIRECTV is bringing another channel its MyFree DIRECTV lineup. MyFree DIRECTV will add A&E’s popular true crime series The First 48 to its free channel lineup on June 30.

The First 48 premiered on A&E in 2004 and is still in production. Over the last 20+ years, it has become one of the networks signature nonfiction franchises.

The First 48 follows homicide detectives from around the country in the critical first 48 hours after a murder investigation begins. Follow along to experience real life investigations, including unprecedented access to crime scenes, interrogations and forensic processing, in the groundbreaking series.

On the free channel, viewers will find a continuous stream of nearly 500 episodes from the first 29 seasons of the show.

MyFree DIRECTV brings viewers free live channels and on demand content that can be streamed on the DIRECTV app. The lineup now includes over 150 channels, featuring sports, news, true crime, history, comedy, reality TV, and more. Sign up with just an email address, no credit card required.
