Today, Prime Video announced that it will expand its short form video feed, called Clips, to include scenes from movies and series from across the Prime Video catalog. Clips launched ahead of the 2025/26 NBA season on the NBA collection page and, before today, only included highlights from games.
“As a first-stop entertainment destination, Prime Video offers customers a vast selection of premium content, and we want to make it as easy and seamless as possible for them to discover what’s most relevant,” said Brian Griffin, director of global application experiences at Prime Video. “Clips gives customers a whole new way to browse with short, personalized snippets tailored to their interests. Whether they have a few minutes to scroll or are looking for something to watch when they have more time, entertainment is just a tap away.”
You can find the Clips feature by scrolling down to the Clips carousel on the Prime Video mobile home page. When you tap on a Clip, you’ll open a full-screen vertical video feed. While you’re watching a Clip, you can easily navigate to that title’s page where you can rent or buy it, subscribe to access it, or save the title to a watchlist. Based on what you like and share and your viewing history, Prime Video will tailor its recommendations for you.
Clips joins a series of recent improvements to the Prime Video mobile experience. These include a refreshed home page that auto-plays trailers as customers browse, vertical images designed for phone screens that allow customers to see up to 50% more titles on their screen, and a redesigned player that makes it easier to explore new titles, cast details, and trivia without interrupting the viewing experience.
The expanded Clips feature is rolling out to select customers in the U.S. on iOS, Android, and Fire tablets and will be fully available to all customers across those devices this summer.
