A new kind of golf broadcast just hit the tee box. The PGA TOUR, ESPN, and DraftKings have teamed up to launch the first-of-its-kind, all-day “watch-and-bet” experience, PGA Tour Live Betcast presented by DraftKings in the ESPN app.
Running across 12 marquee PGA Tour events in 2026, it will tee off with this week’s WM Phoenix Open (Feb. 5–8). The feed pairs live tournament coverage with in-play betting analysis, previews, features, and dedicated betting commentary so viewers can follow the action and act on markets without jumping between apps.
The Betcast will be hosted by Jonathan Coachman, with Matt Every and Michael Collins serving as analysts. Graham DeLaet, Jeff Eisenband, Steve Scott, and Kevin Sylvester round out the rest of the hosting and analyst duties. Rick Gehman will also contribute, and additional talent is set to be announced on a tournament-by-tournament basis.
Designed to run long-form betting coverage alongside the main tournament coverage, ESPN and the PGA Tour expect roughly 400 hours of betting-focused content for the year. The shift is about an 8x jump in coverage from last year’s ~50 hours. The 2026 PGA Tour Live Betcast will have roughly eight hours of daily betting programming at each of those dozen events.
“Our collaboration with the PGA Tour and ESPN reflects a shared, forward-looking approach to fan engagement,” said Stephanie Sherman, Chief Marketing Officer, DraftKings. “For those who see betting as part of their entertainment experience, by integrating our industry-leading golf offerings into PGA Tour Live Betcast, we’re creating a more immersive, real-time way to follow the action from the first tee shot to the final putt, while fostering a sense of connection and community around the sport.”
As the presenting sponsor, DraftKings odds, markets, and promos will be integrated into the feed and ESPN’s coverage. This comes after ESPN quietly rewired its sports-betting strategy in late 2025. The network mutually ended its multi-year arrangement with Penn Entertainment and moved to an exclusive, multi-year partnership with DraftKings. As a result, ESPN has wound down the ESPN Bet app and folded DraftKings’ sportsbook and features into its platform.
“At ESPN, we want to provide fans with more access, insight, and ways to connect with sports. The Betcast gives fans another option to engage with PGA TOUR LIVE and be an attraction to those who desire alternative ways to traditional feeds. We’re always discussing new and innovative approaches to golf coverage with the PGA TOUR, and these shows are the newest evolution of those efforts,” said Sr. Director, Programming & Acquisitions at ESPN John Suchenski.
