A new psychological thriller premiered today on Paramount+ as a limited series. Based on the novel Baby Doll by Hollie Overton, Girl Taken is about a set of twin sisters, Lily and Abby, who love in a small, quiet English town. The girls’ lives are turned upside down when Lily is abducted by beloved local teacher Rick Hansen. After years of abuse in captivity, Lily escapes and is faced with new challenges as she discovers that life has continued on without her while she was gone.
The series stars Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones, Atomic) and Jill Halfpenny (The Cuckoo, After the Flood) as Rick and Eve. Tallulah (The Forsyte Saga, My Fault: London) and Delphi Evans play the twins Lily and Abby.
