Netflix has released the last trailer for Stranger Things, ahead of the final part of Season 5. The trailer features the main characters, flashbacks, and a pep talk from Hopper.

About Season 5 of Stranger Things

Here’s the full synopsis of the last season of the series.

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

About the Series Finale

The description for the finale says: As Vecna prepares to destroy the world as we know it, the party must put everything on the line to defeat him once and for all.

“One last time,” Hopper tells Eleven in the trailer. “Life has been so unfair to you. Your childhood was taken from you. You’ve been attacked, manipulated by terrible people, but you never let it break you. Fight for the days on the other side of this. Fight for a world beyond Hawkins.”

This will mark the end of Season 5, which was released in three parts – Volume 1 on November 26, Volume 2 on December 25, and now the series finale.

The season finale starts streaming on Netflix on Wednesday, December 31, at 8 p.m. ET and will be shown in select theaters. See the full list of participating theaters here.
