March Madness isn’t the only tournament getting national exposure during the college basketball postseason. The College Basketball Crown (CBC) is returning for a second year, and for the first time, FOX One will stream every game throughout the tournament.
The eight-team tournament features major conferences, including the Big Ten, Big 12, and BIG EAST, with additional at-large participants in single-elimination matchups. The 2026 edition of the tournament will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas from Wednesday, April 1 through Sunday, April 5.
Founded by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) and FOX Sports, the tournament is the crown jewel of FOX Sports college basketball coverage, featuring 270+ games, all of which will stream on FOX One. The FOX broadcast network and FS1 are the exclusive television home of CBC coverage, including pre- and postgame shows and news surrounding the postseason matchups. Coverage will also air across FOX’s digital platforms.
With the NCAA planning to expand March Madness to 76 teams in the near future, the CBC gives schools another alternative to the NIT if they don’t make the Big Dance. Backed by a national network, the tournament gives visibility to coaches and schools withing meaningful postseason play. In the inaugural edition of the tournament, the Nebraska Cornhuskers were crowned as champions after defeating UCF in the finals.
