Beginning in 2026, Max Kellerman’s boxing commentary is coming to Paramount+. Per Front Office Sports, their sources stated Kellerman has agreed to be “on the call” for Zuffa Boxing, a promotion founded by UFC president Dana White and Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Al-Sheikh.

Last month, the upstart promotion, a joint venture between TKO Group and Sela, knocked out a multi-year deal with Paramount. As part of that deal, Zuffa’s 12-card slate will stream exclusively on Paramount+, with select events simulcasting on CBS and other platforms.

Kellerman was on the call for Canelo vs. Crawford, which streamed on Netflix. The event was the first boxing showcase in the TKO-Al-Sheikh partnership. By adding the veteran commentator, Zuffa Boxing adds even more legitimacy to the new promotion.

From the mid-2000s to 2018, Kellerman called matches on various networks, including Friday Night Fights on ESPN and HBO’s World Championship Boxing and Boxing After Dark. The Canelo-Crawford event marked Kellerman’s return to the sport after leaving ESPN in 2023. Additionally, Kellerman serves as the host of Inside the Ring, which streams on DAZN.

“I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience. There are millions of boxing fans that will now be able to watch competitive fights with up-and-coming boxers as well as the biggest stars in the sport. Paramount will be the home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the greatest fights in combat sports,” White said in a statement when the Paramount deal was announced.

Beyond Zuffa Boxing, Paramount+ is turning into a streaming destination for combat sports. Next year, the UFC begins a massive deal, making the streamer and CBS platforms the exclusive home for fights inside the Octagon. With these latest agreements, Paramount has positioned itself as a top home for year-round fight content.
