The channel sets itself apart by offering a deep catalog of over 30 iconic Western series, featuring some of the most celebrated programs in television history. The lineup includes timeless shows like Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Maverick, Rawhide, The Wild Wild West, Wanted: Dead or Alive, The Virginian, Have Gun, Will Travel, The High Chaparral, Wagon Train, The Big Valley, Cheyenne, Bronco, Sugarfoot, Lancer, Daniel Boone, and Colt .45, among others.
The network focuses on the enduring appeal of the Western genre, bringing to life stories of brave sheriffs, bold gunslingers, idealistic heroes, and infamous outlaws. These narratives explore classic themes of justice, morality, and survival set against the rugged backdrop of the American frontier. WEST aims to deliver an authentic viewing experience by presenting these series in their original, uncut formats. For example, episodes of The Virginian will air in their full-length versions, preserving the integrity of the storytelling as it was originally intended, free from edits made to fit modern time slots.
WEST’s programming schedule is designed for maximum viewer engagement. Weeknight prime-time slots will showcase the most popular Western series, providing a consistent viewing experience for fans. Weekends will feature extended marathons of beloved shows, allowing audiences to dive into hours of continuous Western adventures. This approach caters to both casual viewers seeking nostalgic entertainment and dedicated fans eager to relive the golden age of TV Westerns. By curating a robust library and prioritizing high-quality, unedited content, WEST establishes itself as a premier destination for Western enthusiasts, celebrating the genre’s rich legacy and timeless storytelling.
