TNT Sports is set to start its first year of Big 12 football coverage, rolling out an ambitious slate of live games, studio shows, all-access programs, and digital content across TNT, truTV, HBO Max, and Bleacher Report. The network’s comprehensive approach aims to showcase the conference’s top players, coaches, and personalities, bringing fans closer to the action than ever before.
The season kicks off with a primetime matchup on Saturday, August 30, as the Arizona Wildcats host the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at 10:30 p.m. ET. The game will air simultaneously on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max, with pregame coverage starting at 10 p.m. Veteran play-by-play announcer J.B. Long will be joined by analyst Mike Golic, Jr., while Allie LaForce reports from the sidelines, capturing the electric atmosphere in Tucson.
TNT Sports’ studio coverage will be anchored by a trio of football luminaries: Champ Bailey, Takeo Spikes, and Victor Cruz. The former college and NFL stars will bring their expertise and charisma to the desk, hosted by Adam Lefkoe, offering fans insightful analysis and lively banter throughout the season. The team will debut on August 30 at 9:30 p.m. ET with XII Uncovered, a groundbreaking all-access show airing on truTV and HBO Max. The weekly program promises an in-depth look at the Big 12, spotlighting teams featured in TNT Sports’ game schedule with behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews.
Adding to the lineup, Inside the 12 will air Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on truTV and HBO Max. Hosted by Pete Sousa and Taylor McHargue, this “Big 12 Studios” production will preview the weekend’s full slate of conference games, feature interviews with players and coaches, and extend its coverage into basketball season. The magazine-style show aims to capture the pulse of the Big 12, from thrilling on-field moments to the vibrant culture surrounding the conference.
Bleacher Report, TNT Sports’ digital arm, is also stepping up with innovative programming. Field Study, an original series, will pair Big 12 stars with their coaches for film study sessions, offering fans a rare glimpse into game preparation. Meanwhile, Alumni Walk will follow famous Big 12 alumni through campus tailgates, capturing the raw energy and nostalgia of game day. Bleacher Report’s social platforms, including House of Highlights and the B/R CFB vertical, will provide 24/7 coverage of the conference’s most compelling storylines, key moments, and top performers.
With a robust lineup and a focus on storytelling, TNT Sports is poised to make its mark on college football in 2025, bringing the Big 12’s passion and pageantry to a national audience.
