The tool guides customers in selecting the best placement for their terminal by previewing potential obstructions at the install location. Additionally, Starlink’s system monitors uptime with remarkable precision, measuring connectivity 10 times per second for every terminal. Any outage lasting longer than one-tenth of a second is transparently reported in the app. For well-installed terminals, even those with partial obstructions, SpaceX reports uptime levels typically reaching 99.9%, a testament to the system’s robustness.
