The company added an impressive 454,000 5G Home Internet customers, marking a 12% year-over-year increase and solidifying its position as the industry leader in 5G broadband net additions. This surge brings T-Mobile’s total 5G broadband customer base to 7.3 million, a testament to the growing demand for its high-speed, reliable home internet service.
The Un-carrier’s Q2 2025 performance was nothing short of stellar, with total postpaid net customer additions reaching 1.7 million—the best Q2 in the company’s history and the highest in the industry. T-Mobile also reported 830,000 postpaid phone net customer additions, another record-breaking Q2 figure that outpaced competitors and exceeded analyst expectations of 700,300 additions. Additionally, the company saw 318,000 postpaid net account additions, a 6% increase year-over-year, further cementing its industry-leading growth. These metrics highlight T-Mobile’s ability to attract and retain customers through its superior network and value-driven offerings.
The company’s 5G Home Internet service continues to disrupt the broadband market, offering a compelling alternative to traditional internet providers. With availability in over 50 million households nationwide, T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet delivers fast, reliable connectivity without the long-term contracts or data caps that frustrate consumers. T-Mobile’s financial performance mirrored its customer growth, with total service revenues climbing 6% year-over-year to $17.4 billion and postpaid service revenues rising 9% to $14.1 billion—both industry bests. Net income hit a record $3.2 billion, up 10%, while diluted earnings per share reached $2.84, a 14% year-over-year increase. The company also raised its full-year 2025 guidance, projecting postpaid net customer additions of 6.1 to 6.4 million, up from 5.5 to 6.0 million.
