PBS’s annual Independence Day concert is celebrating 45 years with this year’s event on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. As America celebrates its 249th birthday. A Capitol Fourth will feature patriotic and pop performances by the National Symphony Orchestra, U.S. Army Band (“Pershing’s Own”), U.S. Army Presidential Salute Guns Battery, Choral Arts Society of Washington, and special guest artists.
