Duke SF Cooper Flagg headlines tonight’s draft as the consensus No. 1 overall pick and is expected to make Dallas his new home after the Mavericks traded away former franchise centerpiece Luka Doncic and won the 2025 NBA Draft lottery last month.
The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, will hold this year’s NBA Draft with ESPN covering the event for the 23rd consecutive year. Like the NFL Draft earlier this year, ESPN and ABC will offer viewers unique presentations of NBA Draft coverage. On ABC, Stephen A. Smith will join host Kevin Negandhi and analysts Bob Myers, with Monica McNutt and Marty Smith serving as reporters. For the ESPN broadcast, Malika Andrews will handle hosting duties, and Jay Bilas, analysts Kendrick Perkins, and Andraya Carter will join her on the main set. Other featured talent will include NBA Insider Shams Charania, international expert Jonathan Givony, and Front Office Insider Bobby Marks.
