Weigel Broadcasting Co. today unveiled plans for its tenth over-the-air national broadcast television network, WEST – Western Entertainment Series Television, set to launch in Fall 2025. The network will dedicate its 24/7 programming to the greatest Western television series ever produced, boasting a robust library of over 30 marquee titles, including Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Maverick, Rawhide, The Virginian, and Wild Wild West, among others. WEST will be available nationwide on Weigel’s broadcast television stations, with additional carriage and distribution partners to be announced in the coming months.
“WEST will be dedicated 24/7 to showcasing the most beloved and iconic classic TV western series, with a massive library of titles that will make this the premier western network on television,” said Neal Sabin, Vice Chairman Weigel Broadcasting Co. “Featuring compelling story lines and narratives with universal adult appeal, the programs on WEST promise to transport viewers on an entertainment journey filled with excitement and adventure.”

WEST’s programming lineup reads like a who’s-who of Western television royalty. Viewers can expect to saddle up with iconic gunslingers, fearless sheriffs, and cunning outlaws in series like Wanted: Dead or Alive, Have Gun, Will Travel, The High Chaparral, Wagon Train, and The Big Valley. From the sprawling ranches of Bonanza to the gritty trails of Rawhide, each show promises thrilling narratives and unforgettable moments that have captivated audiences for decades.
WEST joins Weigel’s esteemed portfolio of national broadcast networks, including MeTV, MeTV Toons, Start TV, Heroes & Icons, Catchy Comedy, MeTV+, Story Television, Dabl, and MOVIES!.
