Cord cutters looking to saddle up for classic shootouts and frontier tales have a new destination. Western Bound, the popular Western-themed FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channel, is now streaming on TCLtv+.
The launch was announced May 12 by Tammy Burklin, VP for Western Bound. “Bringing Western Bound to TCLtv+ means giving viewers easy, free access to a lineup of classic westerns and original frontier adventures, with no subscriptions or sign-ups required,” said Burklin. “With the push of a button, viewers can enjoy the spirit of the Old West from the comfort of their living room.”
Available in TCLtv+’s Western category on channel 2022 and “wrangled by INSP”, Western Bound brings a fresh batch of old west content. That includes iconic series like Cheyenne and The Rifleman, along with fan-favorite originals like ELKHORN, Blue Ridge, Wild West Chronicles, and Ultimate Cowboy Showdown. The channel also features movies from Imagicomm Entertainment, including titles not currently available on any other FAST platform.

Western cinema got its start in the early 1900s, drawing inspiration from Wild West shows that thrilled audiences starting in the 1870s. While early silent films helped lay the groundwork, it reached peak popularity between 1945 and 1965, when about one-quarter of Hollywood’s output consisted of Westerns. This golden era saw the rise of iconic figures like John Wayne and directors like John Ford, who helped mythologize the American frontier through sweeping vistas and stoic heroism.

Western Bound joins a growing list of over 350 FAST channels available on TCLtv+, covering everything from classic series and movies to family, lifestyle, music, news, and sports. Partner networks include Paramount, FOX, A+E, Lionsgate, NFL, and more. TCLtv+ is available for free, with no sign-up required, and the updated app is ready to download from the app store.
