FOX announced that it will launch a new streaming service called FOX One, which will offer live and on-demand content from all FOX brands, including FOX, FOX News, FOX Business, FOX Weather, FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network, FOX Deportes, FOX Local Stations. There will also be an option to add FOX Nation to a bundle package.

“We know that FOX has the most loyal and engaged audiences in the industry, and FOX One is designed to reach outside of the pay-TV bundle and deliver all the best FOX branded content directly to viewers wherever they are,” said FOX One CEO Pete Distad in a statement Monday. “We have built this platform from the ground up to allow consumers to enjoy and engage with our programming in new and exciting ways, leveraging cutting edge technology to enhance the user experience across the platform.”

The company first shared plans for the service in February, as part of the company’s strategic move to expand its digital footprint and cater to audiences beyond traditional cable television. Historically, FOX has focused on its free, ad-supported platform, Tubi, which boasts approximately 97 million monthly active users, particularly resonating with the 18-34 age demographic. Now, with FOX One, CEO Lachlan Murdoch emphasized that the service is designed to reach consumers who have moved away from traditional pay-TV bundles.

The announcement’s timing comes just days after it was reported that FOX competitor, Disney, has given its highly anticpated ESPN direct-to-consumer standalone app a name. That app is expected to be around $25-30 per month with a reported launch ahead of the NFL season.

FOX hasn’t announced an exact launch date or pricing yet, but says the service will be available in Fall 2025, and it’s expected to be available before the start of the NFL and college football seasons. Until then, you can check out the FOX One website for updates.
