Back in 2023, Hulu shared the news that it would be bringing back King of the Hill for a new season. Now, we have a better idea of when we’ll be able to stream the revival.

Deadline reports that the cast is getting together for a reunion, joined by co-creators and executive producers Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, at ATX TV Festival in May. The event will take place on May 30 and will give attendees a preview of the season, which Deadline then confirms will launch this summer.

“We are all so excited to welcome back Hank, Peggy and Bobby, and to see what they have to say about the world we live in and continue the conversations we began years ago,” said Craig Erwich, president, ABC Entertainment, Hulu and Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals in the original announcement about the reboot. “This show has all of the perfect ingredients to meet this moment in animation at Hulu, and we’re so thankful to be having those conversations alongside this talented group.”

The show originally aired from 1997 to 2009 and revolved around the Hill family in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas. The revival will pick up several years after the original series, with Bobby Hill working as a chef. Many original voices will be back for the series. Unfortunately a few people from the cast have passed away since 2009, including Brittany Murphy (Luanne), Tom Petty (Lucky), and Johnny Hardwick (Dale) who had already recorded some of his lines. It hasn’t been announced if those roles will be recast.

The titles of the new episodes were leaked via the WGA website in December, giving some small hints about storylines. Here are the titles for the first ten episodes:

  • “Return of the King”
  • “The Beer Story”
  • “Chore Money, Chore Problems”
  • “Any Given Hill-Day”
  • “New Ref in Town”
  • “Peggy’s Fadeout”
  • “Bobby Gets Grilled”
  • “No Hank Left Behind”
  • “A Sounder Investment”
  • “Kahn-scious Uncoupling”

While you wait for the new season to premiere this summer, you can catch all the previous seasons on Hulu.
