Beginning on Sunday, March 9, wrestling fans will have a new way to watch live pay-per-views after Prime Video enters the ring with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Under a new multi-year partnership, AEW PPVs will be available for purchase on Prime Video, starting with Sunday’s AEW Revolution.
As part of the agreement, AEW fans in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom can purchase AEW PPV events on Prime Video. The move improves AEW’s digital accessibility by allowing millions of Prime subscribers to find the promotion’s latest events.
“We are thrilled to work with Prime Video to bring all AEW pay-per-view events to their incredible service, marking a major milestone in the continued expansion of AEW’s global reach,” said AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan in a statement. “AEW pay-per-view events are consistently the most exciting professional wrestling events in the world, and fans will now be able to experience that firsthand through Prime Video beginning with AEW Revolution this Sunday, March 9.”
The latest move comes months after AEW expanded its PPV distribution to Max subscribers in the United States. That was part of a rights renewal agreement valued at around $150 million with Warner Bros. Discovery, which broadcasts AEW’s weekly TV shows Dynamite and Collision on TBS and TNT, respectively, with live simulstreaming and on-demand viewing available on Max. As part of that agreement, Max subscribers can purchase the promotion’s wrestling PPVs at a discounted price.
For Prime Video, the AEW deal adds another valuable property to its live sports portfolio. Across the platform, subscribers can stream a selection of live games, including the NFL, UEF Champions League, NASCAR, and more at no additional costs. Additionally, Prime Video offers a wide selection of add-on channels, including Max, Apple TV+, Discovery+, and FanDuel Sports Networks. Other PPV events that can be purchased on the platform include Premier Boxing Champions.
Starting Sunday, March 9, fans of the squared circle can watch all of the action live by purchasing AEW Revolution on Prime Video.
