Streaming service Fubo has just announced the launch of “Fubo Essential,” a new channel plan designed to provide a more affordable option for viewers who prioritize cost-effectiveness.

This new plan offers the same extensive lineup of sports, news, and entertainment channels as the existing “Pro” plan, but excludes regional sports networks (RSNs). This makes it an ideal choice for viewers who are less interested in local sports coverage and want to save on their monthly subscription.

Fubo Essential is priced at $79.99 per month. However, as part of a limited-time offer, new subscribers can take advantage of a discounted introductory price of $44.99 for their first month.

This launch comes as streaming services face increasing pressure to offer more flexible and affordable options to compete in a crowded market. By introducing Fubo Essential, Fubo caters to a wider audience, providing a more budget-friendly entry point to its platform while still delivering a robust selection of content.
