VIZIO is making sports viewing easier for fans with the rollout of Team Pages on VIZIO Sports Zone. The new feature enhances the game day viewing experience for must-watch events, by letting fans follow their favorite teams and easily locate popular events, including the addition of men’s and women’s professional and college basketball and U.S. and international soccer leagues.

With just a few clicks, VIZIO users can easily find top live broadcasts and on-demand content across multiple streaming apps from the wide world of sports. This new centralized discovery tool makes finding live and upcoming sports events simple and gives users the ability to create a fan-friendly schedule by saving upcoming games to a personalized Watchlist.

“With the wild popularity of VIZIO Sports Zone, it made perfect sense for our team to expand this experience to offer even more sports,” said Steve Yum, Group Vice President of Product Management. “We’re thrilled to bring the convenience of VIZIO Sports Zone to millions of VIZIO Smart TV users who also happen to be basketball and soccer fans so they can find their games faster.”

Team Pages allow fans to find all the streaming options for their favorite franchises and clubs directly from their VIZIO Smart TV. Users can select the VIZIO Sports Zone in the left-hand navigation on VIZIO Home. Teams from the top leagues in professional and collegiate sports including NFL, NCAA Football, MLB, NHL, and now basketball leagues including NBA, WNBA, and NCAA men’s and women’s basketball as well as soccer leagues including the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, MLS, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and more.

After users select the teams they want to follow and save the upcoming events that matter the most to their watchlist; navigate directly to the personalized My Sports Watchlist row within VIZIO Sports Zone or from the My Watchlist row on VIZIO Home and enjoy your favorites.

Late last year, Walmart added Vizio to its portfolio for $2.3 billion, giving the world’s largest employer ownership of Vizio’s free streaming service WatchFree+.

Sports fans in the United States can also find the recently launched All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN) on WatchFree+. Launched by Whoopi Goldberg and JungoTV, AWSN is the first global media channel dedicated to exclusively showing women’s sports. UEFA Soccer, International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), and Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) are some of the notable leagues that are showcased on the network.
