This comes as just in time for Halloween, TCLtv+ is bringing horror fans a brand-new channel filled with nearly 80 spine-tingling films and TV series. As part of TCL’s free streaming service, this new horror channel will be available on both TCL Google TVs and, following a July expansion, Roku TVs in the United States.
TCL Horror is perfect for those looking to get into the Halloween spirit with a mix of cult classics, supernatural thrillers, and celebrity-packed scare-fests. Iconic programming includes the Van Helsing series, 13 Nights of Elvira, and the 1980 horror classic Prom Night, starring Jamie Lee Curtis. You’ll also catch some surprising appearances from stars like Sean Astin, Demi Moore, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, and more in a range of eerie films.
TCLtv+ originally launched on TCL Google TVs but expanded to Roku TVs in July 2024, offering users access to a vast library of free on-demand movies, TV shows, and over 350 live channels. The launch of the horror channel is just one of many recent moves by TCL to grow its streaming service, which features content from major entertainment brands like NBCUniversal, Sony, Lionsgate, Fox, A&E, and more.
“TCL’s partnership with Roku powers the distribution of our vast and growing portfolio of premium content to a new audience,” said Haohong Wang, General Manager of TCL Research America. “TCLtv+ delivers quality programming from some of the most recognizable brands in entertainment while driving value for our marketing partners.”
Roku, the top streaming platform in the U.S., welcomed the addition of TCLtv+ to its lineup. “This new channel is a natural next step in our longstanding partnership with TCL, and we are thrilled to continue collaborating with their team,” said Tom McFarland, Vice President of Roku TV.
While TCLtv+ is exclusive to TCL-branded TVs, its growing partnerships—including recent deals with NFL and Paramount—continue to broaden its offerings. This makes TCL Horror a must-watch destination for all things spooky this season.
