Man holding Pixel Phone

Later this month, Google will officially announce the next Pixel phone called the Pixel 7a. This budget-friendly version of the Pixel 7 is not even officially announced, but they are already leaking on the street. Now a Redditor got their hands on one and has broken down a ton of details about it.

Note please ignore the stock Pixel photo. You can find photos of the phone on Reddit HERE.

So today, we are going to break down everything we know about the Pixel 7a.

What is the battery size?

The phone will reportedly have a 43000mah battery. It will be up to a 20W charger, and wireless charging is confirmed.

What hardware should you expect?

The Pixel 7a will reportedly come with a Google Tensor g2 processor, 8 GB ldppr5 Samsung ram, a Samsung display, and it will also have stereo speakers.

Storage is expected to be starting at 128GB.

Software?

The Pixel 7a will reportedly launch with Android 13.

Will it have a fingerprint reader or face unlock?

It is being reported that the Pixel 7a will offer both face unlock and a fingerprint reader under the screen, like with the Pixel 7.

What about the display stats?

The size of the screen will be the same as the Pixel 6a at 6.1″. It will come with a 90hz refresh, so defiantly a budget screen but still very good for a budget phone.

What about the camera?

The front camera can do 4K, but it seems to be only at 30fps. The main camera is a 16.1 megapixel camera and will include a wide-angle option.

Release Date

It is being reported that the pixel 7a will launch on May 10th, when the Google I/O event kicks off.

Price

Pricing is still unknown, but it is expected to be slightly more than the Pixel 6a that launched at $449. (The Pixel 6a is currently on sale for $319.99 on Amazon right now.)

To learn more we will have to wait, but from the looks of it, most of the major details about the Pixel 7a have been announced.
