Did you try to sign up for FuboTV over the weekend only to find you had to pay for three months upfront? During the Super Bowl, FuboTV only offered quarterly options for new subscribers hiding its monthly payment options. Now though, new subscribers can once again sign up for FuboTV with monthly plans.

This is not the first time FuboTV has done this. Over the last year or so, FuboTV has tested, at times, only offering quarterly payment options. Now once again, FuboTV tested the idea.

FuboTV has confirmed to Cord Cutters News that monthly options are back and that last weekend was just a test for quarterly-only payments.

For FuboTV getting customers to pay upfront for three months helps them lock customers in. Subscribers are far less likely to cancel once they have been using the service for a few months.

The downside for subscribers is if you want to test FuboTV out, you need to pay for three months upfront.
