Peacock’s new limited series, “Angelyne,” tells the mysterious story behind a woman who became famous for being on billboards around Los Angeles.
The series, starring Emmy Rossum as Angelyne, starts with two lines from a 2017 Hollywood Reporter article. “Way before Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian, the enigmatic blonde bombshell was famous for being famous, perpetually driving the streets of Hollywood in that pink Corvette. But her true identity has remained secret all these years … until now.”
