The world’s best golfers tee-off on “The Greatest Show on Grass” when the 2022 WM Phoenix Open begins. TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona will host the Phoenix Open, which is known for its relaxed atmosphere which featured over 700,000 spectators visiting the event during the five-day 2020 edition.
Established in 1932, the Phoenix Open has become one of the most popular events on the PGA Tour with Arizona State alumnus Phil Mickelson being the most popular player. Mickelson will not compete at this year’s event which features a field of 132 players competing for a purse of $8.2 million ($1.476 million winner’s share). Two-time and reigning champion Brooks Koepa will be looking to defend his crown against a tough field featuring World No. 1 golfer Jon Rahm and World No. 6 golfer Justin Thomas.
