Today, AT&T TV officially became DirecTV Stream. The update comes after an announcement from AT&T earlier this month, when the company announced that it had completed the spinoff of DirecTV, creating a separate video business.

“We’re excited to introduce DIRECTV STREAM, bringing together the best of Live TV and On-Demand content like never seen before,” said Vince Torres, Chief Marketing Officer, DIRECTV.

With the update, users can still choose from four no-contract packages on the DirecTV Stream website:

  • Entertainment Package with 65+ channels for $69.99/mo.
  • Choice Package with 90+ channels and HBO Max included for 1 year for $84.99/mo.
  • Ultimate Package with 130+ channels and HBO Max included for 1 year for $94.99/mo.
  • Premier Package with 140+ channels and HBO Max, Cinemax, Showtime, and Starz included for $139.99/mo.

All customers’ account information, online access, and billing details will remain the same. “We expect no changes for current AT&T TV subscribers other than the logo on their screens, and customers don’t need to take any action as a result of the transaction,” the website says.

With the debut of DirecTV Stream, the company released a new ad campaign. You can watch the “Get Your TV Together” ad below.
