Ever wonder how happy cord cutters are with their live TV streaming services? Yesterday the consumer research firm Lichtman Research Group (LRG) released a new study looking at the current state of live TV streaming services. (Know inside the industry as “vMVPD”)

According to the LRG report, 73% of live TV subscribers are “very satisfied” with services like Sling TV, Philo, PlayStation Vue, Hulu, DIRECTV NOW, YouTube TV, and more. That does not even count the customers who are just satisfied not very satisfied.

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index that is far higher than Comcast’s 57% satisfaction and Spectrums 58% satisfaction. Overall pay TV services averaged just 62% satisfaction according to ACSI.

“vMVPD services were first introduced about four years ago, and the market for these lower-cost/lower-channel pay-TV services is still growing and evolving,” said Bruce Leichtman, president and principal analyst for Leichtman Research Group, Inc. “Consumers continue to experiment with the various vMVPD services, along with other traditional and streaming options, to find the best combinations of video content and cost.”
