About the 2025 WNBA Skills Challenge: Participants, Prize, & More

The Skills Challenge returns in a head-to-head format where players race through a course testing their dribbling, passing, and shooting precision. This year’s field features some fierce competitors, including defending champ Allisha Gray, Seattle’s Skylar Diggins and Erica Wheeler, Minnesota’s Courtney Williams, and Liberty star Natasha Cloud. With $55,000 on the line for the winner, the stakes are higher than ever.

About the 2025 WNBA 3-Point Shootout: Participants, Prize, & More

Once the skills portion wraps, the spotlight shifts to long-range sharpshooters for the STARRY® 3-Point Contest. One of the most anticipated debuts in All-Star weekend history was expected to happen with Indiana’s own Caitlin Clark stepping up to the arc.

Unfortunately, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year will miss out on this weekend’s events due to a groin injury. Since Clark isn’t able to compete, Fever teammate Lexie Hull is stepping in as an alternate. She’ll go up against heavy hitters like Sabrina Ionescu, who holds one of the most impressive 3-point contest performances in league history, and Kelsey Plum, now representing the L.A. Sparks. Allisha Gray, who is also the defending 3-Point champion, will also pull double duty here, while Sonia Citron of the Washington Mystics rounds out the lineup. The winner will take home a $60,000 prize.
