Zeam Media, renowned for powering successful OTT solutions and its innovative streaming platform Zeam, has announced an exciting expansion of its channel offerings. New additions include Always Funny TV from the creators of America’s Funniest Home Videos, TEGNA’s Locked On Sports and True Crime Network, and Hubbard Broadcasting’s local stations across Minnesota, New Mexico, and upstate New York. This follows the recent launch of Fast Lane TV by professional race car driver Ryan Phinny earlier this month.

Zeam Media’s CEO, Jack Perry, highlighted the company’s commitment to diverse and local content, saying, “We are continuing to enhance our roster with content that spans genres and interests, but also leans into local themes. Always Funny TV features hilarious moments captured in home videos from around the country, while the TEGNA channels hone in on local sports and true crime investigations. We are also looking forward to having the fine broadcast journalists from within Hubbard Broadcasting’s portfolio share their hyperlocal storytelling on a national level.”

New Channel Offerings

Always Funny TV: This 24/7 channel delivers non-stop laughs with hilarious home videos suitable for all ages, created by the team behind America’s Funniest Home Videos.

TEGNA Locked On Sports: Sports enthusiasts can stay updated on their favorite teams in local markets such as Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. A national Locked On Sports channel will also offer comprehensive sports news and analysis.

TEGNA True Crime Network: This channel offers a captivating experience for true crime fans, featuring a combination of 24/7 multicast network, on-demand streaming service, and high-quality true crime podcasts from TEGNA’s VAULT Studios.

Hubbard Broadcasting: Local stations including KAAL-TV (Rochester, MN), WHEC-TV (Rochester, NY), WDIO-TV (Duluth, MN), KOB-TV (Albuquerque, NM), KSTP-TV (Minneapolis, MN), and WNYT-TV (Albany, NY) will bring their hyperlocal reporting to a national audience via Zeam’s platform.

Since its launch on Super Bowl Sunday with a campaign starring John Stamos, Zeam has quickly become a go-to platform for in-between binge sessions, offering live and on-demand news, sports, and cultural content. Its “Always Local, Always Live” approach has made it a unique hub for personalized content.

Zeam’s Vision and Expansion

Zeam aims to connect broadcasters and content creators to viewers in a way that fosters a sense of connection to local news, sports, and cultural events. This mission has attracted nearly 300 local broadcasters, including Gray TV, CBS, News Press & Gazette, and Morgan Murphy.

The rollout of Zeam included the launch of Zeam 360, the first-ever mobile production studio with 24/7 streaming capabilities. Zeam 360 has toured local broadcast stations, creating compelling hyperlocal content and educating broadcasters about OTT possibilities. Additionally, Zeam is establishing a new studio in Times Square to support local, independent creators and provide them a platform to reach a broader audience.
