Back in early 2016 Roku introduced a new Roku Stick with a quad core processor. At launch the 2016 Roku Stick cost $49.99 and has kept that price except for a few sales since launch.

Now Roku is slashing the price of the Roku Stick to just $39.99 on their website and on Amazon.

This comes just a few months after Roku dropped the price of their boxes. Here are the new prices of their streaming boxes:

Roku Ultra for $109.99 (down from $129.99).

Roku Premiere+ for $89.99 (down from $99.99).

Roku Premiere for $69.99 (down from $79.99).

The Roku Express, and Express+, are still the same price.

These are not sale prices. When you go to Roku’s site, you can see that they are new list price.

These price drops make Roku players very competitive. Roku’s line of players are now the same price or less expensive when you look at its main competition.
