The Boston Celtics are one victory away from their 18th NBA championship if they can defeat the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the 2024 NBA Finals. The series returns to TD Garden Arena in Boston after the Mavericks were able to win a Game 4 blowout, 122-84.

Game 4 was the first win for the Mavs in the series, and their 38-point win is the fourth-largest in NBA Finals history. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the Finals, and the Mavs would need to continue playing dominant basketball. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving will need to match the intensity of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum on a loaded Boston team.
