Last week Hallmark finally released a Roku channel that gives access to a wide range of Hallmark movies and shows.
You will need a provider login, and Sling TV is one of the supported services. If you have the Hallmark Channel as part of your Sling TV subscription you can access the content. (Update: It seems that Sling TV is no longer listed as a authorized service.)
Hallmark describes the Roku channel in the following:
Watch your favorite Hallmark Channel original shows and movies wherever and whenever you want with the Hallmark Channel Everywhere app available for Roku! Just launch the app and log in with your cable or satellite provider account info. This will give you access to everything the Hallmark Channel Everywhere app currently has to offer including episodes of recent original series and great original movies. We’re adding more and more content all the time, so it’s only going to get better.

Although this may not be the à la carte option many had hoped for it does open up a wide range of on-demand content for cord cutters who subscribe to a service that offers the Hallmark Channel. Hopefully someday an true à la carte option will become available.
