Streaming Ink Media (SIM), a creative group co-founded by industry veterans Evan Weiss and John Fitzpatrick, has launched a new animated comedy streaming service and studio branded Animation+. This new service will be available exclusively to Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free TV streaming service.
Animation+ will start with a FAST Channel and AVOD offering that includes over 600 hours of animated comedy series popular with Millennial and Gen-Z audiences in the United States and Canada. There are plans to expand internationally and to other major streaming services later this year. Additionally, Animation+ Studios is developing new original content and plans to launch a premium service with over ten new original half-hour series, 11-minute series, feature-length projects, and video games slated for 2025 premieres.
