Watching tv and using remote controlWe’re back with another comparison post, where we take a look at two live TV streaming services to help you decide which might work best for your cord cutting setup.

Today we’re looking at YouTube TV and the Core package from PlayStation Vue.

Plans and Pricing

YouTube TV now costs $49.99/month. The streaming service doesn’t have multiple plan options to choose from. Before starting your monthly subscription, you can try it out with a 5 day free trial.

Channel and Price Comparison

One way to look at the value you’re getting from your streaming service is to compare how many channels you get for your money.

With YouTube TV, you’ll pay $49.99/month for 82 channels, bringing the cost to about 61 cents per channel.

The PlayStation Vue Core package is currently on sale for $39.99/month for 75 channels, making the cost 52 cents per channel. When the package goes back to the regular price of $49.99/month, that will rise to 67 cents per channel.

Channels

Comparing price per channel is a good way to look at the value of each streaming service, but you’ll want to choose the platform with the channels you watch most often. Below, you’ll find the full list of channels from both options.
