This week YouTube TV started to roll out a “large” update to Apple TV owners that fixes some annoying bugs. These bug fixes include fixing the blank screen issue when resuming and improving how HDR works on the Apple TV.

On Reddit, YouTube TV confirmed this update saying, “this is part of another large Apple update we just started this week so you’re in the lucky tiny first wave. This update should also address the app resume black screen issue as well as other performance improvements. Please message or share if you run into any unexpected issues.”

Now with 4K HDR, you will no longer need to mess with the Apple TV set to make it work correctly. The YouTube TV app will now automatically switch to the correct HDR settings for your TV.

This news comes as YouTube TV rolled out a beta of its Multiview service, letting viewers see up to 4 March Madness games simultaneously. YouTube TV has also promised to add more features this year as it prepares for NFL Sunday Ticket this fall. YouTube TV also dropped the price of its 4K add-on to $9.99 a month last week but raised the price of its base package.

Currently, this update is only available to a small number of YouTube TV customers, but it will be rolling out in the weeks to come to everyone if no issues are found.
