YouTube TV Removes All DVR Limitations on CBS Owned Channels

youtube tv logoToday YouTube TV added full DVR Controls to CBS owned channels. No longer will you be forced to view the on-demand versions of programs from CBS, Smithsonian Channel, and Pop TV. This means you can now fast forward through commercials for programs you DVR’d on CBS, for example.

Here is a tweet YouTube TV posted announcing the change to its DVR:

When YouTube TV first launched, its DVR would always show the on-demand version available for most channels by default. This means in the past, you could not skip over commercials on many programs. Recently, YouTube TV has been removing this limitation and now CBS, the last network to force the on-demand version on DVR programming, lets you fast forward through commercials.

Hopefully, this is the first of new features coming to YouTube TV.
