It had been hinted that YouTube TV had over 2 million subscribers, but today it was made official. This means the race for the largest live TV streaming service has come down to YouTube TV, Hulu, and Sling TV has these three services have started to pull away from the competition leaving AT&T TV NOW, FuboTV, and more far behind them.

YouTube TV reported about 1.2 billion in revenue in 2019.

Google also announced that YouTube Music and YouTube Premium now have over 20 million subscribers. That works out to be about $2.4 billion in revenue in 2019. YouTube overall has $15.1 billion in revenue, not counting YouTube TV. This is the first time YouTube had over $15 billion in revenue.

Typically Google has been very secretive about subscriber numbers for services like YouTube TV. Today could mark a turning point of Google opening up about how services like YouTube TV are doing.
