If you are a YouTube TV subscriber, there are new channels now live. After being announced back in April today, YouTube TV has added seven new channels from Sinclair. This includes the Tennis Channel that was removed from YouTube TV some time ago but is now being readded.

Back in April, Sinclair Broadcasting Group and YouTube TV announced a new partnership to add the Tennis Channel, T2, CHARGE!, and TBD to YouTube TV. Now after a long wait, these channels will soon be live on YouTube TV. Tennis Channel has been added to the Sports Add-on.

In the Spanish Plan and Spanish Plus you will now find Tr3s Channel and Hogarde HGTV Channel have been added.

Also live today in the main package now is the Magnolia Network. The Magnolia Network content includes Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, plus new series Growing Floret, The Lost Kitchen, Homegrown, Family Dinner, and Restoration Road with Clint Harp, along with the complete Fixer Upper library that made the power couple household names.

“We are pleased to reach an agreement that brings Tennis Channel, T2 and all three of our  Emerging Networks to YouTube TV, a valued partner of ours,” said Will Bell, SVP, Head of Distribution & Network Relations for Sinclair. “As the media landscape continues to evolve, our goal remains the same – to bring our unrivaled content to people wherever they want to experience it. With Roland-Garros kicking-off May 28, the timing is perfect for YouTube TV customers.”

This is just the first of several announcements Youtube TV has made that will be coming later this year.

Here is what YouTube TV announced that is coming later this year:

Multiview: As many have noticed, we’ve started experimenting with the multiview feature. We rolled this out to all subscribers due to high demand during March Madness and are working on some improvements ahead of the NFL season. Stay tuned for more specific updates as we get closer to the start of the season.

Picture Quality Experiments: We’re testing transcoding changes, including a bitrate increase for live 1080p content over the next several weeks. These will target devices that support the VP9 codec with high-speed internet connections. If these go well, we plan to make them permanent by this summer. More info to come!
