YouTube TV is Rolling Out a New Mark as Watched Feature

youtube tv logoYouTube TV is rolling out a new feature that has been highly requested by subscribers. A ‘mark as watched’ feature is being rolled out to new devices, with some seeing the addition on iOS devices today.

We reported that YouTube TV was working on a ‘mark as watched’ option back in December, when a YouTube TV engineer commented on a Reddit post saying that the option would be “coming very soon.”

On the YouTube TV Help page, this section has now been added with instructions on how to use the feature.

If you want to improve your recommendations and search results, you can also mark TV show episodes as watched. Any episode(s) marked as watched will be automatically added to your watch history.

The ability to mark content as watched is being rolled out now but is not yet available on all devices. If you don’t yet have this feature, you’ll likely be seeing it soon.
