YouTube TV is Raising the Price of Showtime

Overnight YouTube TV started to contact subscribers who have Showtime as part of their plan to inform them of a price hike. In the past, YouTube TV offered Showtime at a discounted price of $7 a month. Now YouTube TV will charge $11 a month for Showtime. This is the same price many other services charges for showtime, including Amazon Channels.

Showtime used to cost $11 a month on YouTube TV, but back in June, the price was cut down to $7 a month. Showtime was also offered for free to many YouTube TV customers until September 5th, 2019, a part of a promotion offer. Now it seems that these promotional offer has come to an end.

The good news is YouTube TV has no long term contracts meaning you can drop Showtime at any time if you don’t like the new price. Showtime will give you access not only to Showtime Originals like Ray Donovan, Homeland, Shameless, and more but also access to many popular movies.
