For about the last hour Cord Cutters News has received reports that YouTube TV on the Apple TV is down right now. Well, you can access the menu when you try to stream a channel or video on YouTube users get an error message or just a spinning wheel. The good news is you can still access YouTube TV on other devices like web browsers.
Update: YouTube TV on the Apple TV is now back online. YouTube TV sent Cord Cutters News this statement on the outage. “Some people encountered errors when trying to access YouTube TV on Apple TV yesterday. We worked quickly to address the issue and fixed the problem. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this caused.”
Update: Some readers are reporting that uninstalling the YouTube TV app on the Apple TV and reinstalling it seems to be fixing the issue.
Now not all YouTube users are experiencing the issue but reports are starting to flood in about the outage both from our readers and on Reddit.

Cord Cutters News is reaching out to Google for comment and will update this story as we learn more. This is the first major YouTube TV outage in some time. Recently YouTube TV has had a record for being very reliable.
