If your College Football Game is Blacked-Out on YouTube TV Here is How to Get Around The Blackout

For some reason, YouTube TV does not seem to have streaming rights to some Fox aired college football games. Today when some YouTube TV subscribers tried to access FAU vs. Ohio State on Fox, they found a message saying that YouTube TV did not have rights to that game. Exactly why this is happening is unknown as other services like PlayStation Vue are streaming the game without issue.

Update: Some YouTube TV subscribers are saying they are able to stream the game. So the blackout seems to regional but not limited to a single area. Cord Cutters News has confirmed in our office that YouTube TV is not airing the Fox FAU vs. Ohio State game at this time.

The good news is you can get around this blackout by going to the Fox Sports app and logging in with your YouTube TV username and password. (Or using an antenna to watch Fox free over the air.)

This news comes as YouTube TV also announced that they have dropped ESPN3 support. So what is ESPN? ESPN3 gives additional access to ESPN content like games airing on ABC and games not airing on any ESPN channel.
