YouTube TV Fixes its Roku Channel

youtube tv logoHave you ever been frustrated with the YouTube TV guide and how it always seems to be stuck at the time when you started to watch TV? Since launch, YouTube TV has had a bug that would not move the guide forward after you started the app. Now Google has finally fixed that bug at least on Roku Players and Roku TVs after it fixed the bug on its web version. Now when you go back to the guide, YouTube TV will jump forward to the current to show you want is on right now.

If you do not have the update make sure

Back in December, YouTube TV announced that it is improving its guide to add seven days’ worth of data. In the past, you could only look forward to a few hours. Now you can look ahead up to 7 days into the future.

Currently, this update is only available on the web version of YouTube TV. Google says this feature will be added to more devices being added at some point in the future.

No word on when we will see this new feature roll out to more devices. Google often rolls out new features to the web version of its services first before updating apps.
