YouTube TV Cuts The Price of Showtime

YouTube TV just cut the price of Showtime down from $11 a month to $7 a month. This comes as YouTube TV is offering free Showtime to select YouTube TV subscribers. If you are eligible when you launch YouTube TV a message pops up offering you free Showtime until September 9th 2019. We are not sure if everyone is getting this offer or if it is just for select YouTube subscribers. The best news about this deal is the fact that it won’t auto bill you when September 5th, 2019 rolls around.

Here is the message that is showing up when you launch YouTube TV tonight:

As a longtime friend of YouTube TV, we’re giving you SHOWTIME® through 9/5. Activate your offer in Settings to include it in your plan at no cost. And, no, we won’t automatically bill you after this offer ends.

We are not sure who is getting this deal but it seems to be YouTube TV subscribers who signed up very early after YouTube TV launched. If you didn’t get the free Showtime you can at least get Showtime at a discount.
