Earlier today we learned that the Smithsonian Channel was being added to Hulu’s live TV service. Now it was announced that YouTube TV has added the Smithsonian Channel to Their Lineup for YouTube TV subscribers.

“In this ever-changing landscape, we’re always looking for ways to expand our existing audience” Smithsonian Channel president Tom Hayden said in a release. “We are thrilled that Hulu with Live TV and YouTube TV subscribers now have access to our award-winning programming, and look forward to strong partnerships with two of the biggest leaders in digital streaming.”

Here is how they describe the channel:

Smithsonian Channel™ is where curiosity lives, inspiration strikes and wonders never cease. This is the place for awe-inspiring stories, powerful documentaries and amazing entertainment. As a joint venture, Smithsonian Channel combines the storytelling prowess of Showtime Networks with the unmatched resources and rich traditions of the Smithsonian Institution. We create award-winning programming that shines new light on popular genres such as: air and space, history, science, nature, and pop culture.

You can now find the Smithsonian Channel on both Hulu and YouTube TV.
